Abstract

Founded by Joe Glazer, Joe Uehlein, and Saul Schniderman in 1979, the Labor Heritage Foundation promotes the use and value of music and arts in labor activism. Saul Schniderman also created the Inventory of American Labor Landmarks, which documents historical markers and monuments of labor history in the United States. Notable people represented in this collection include Pete Seeger, Archie Green, and Si Kahn.
