Photographs, 1955-1970

This series consists of five photographs. Two photographs by Ander Gunn were published in Positives. They were separated from the Positives materials in Series II. The photographs were identified by Gunn as "Man On a Motorbike" and "Negro Children Coming Out of a Front Door" and appear on pages 33 and 41 of Positives. The specific details of the acquisition of the three other photographs of Gunn are unknown; however, it is likely that they were purchased circa 1967-1972. One is dated circa 1955, and the other two document Gunn's participation in the London Poetry Festival in 1970. The photographs are arranged chronologically.
