Donald G. Godfrey papers, circa 1970-2011 and undated
This series consists of Don Godfrey's papers related to his work with BEA. Godfrey is a professor of journalism and mass communication at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. Godfrey was BEA president from 1999-2000 and has been involved in the organization in various ways before and after his presidential tenure, including serving on the research and history committees.
The files are arranged in the order in which Godfrey kept them. Godfrey wrote a detailed index to each of his file boxes. The previous numbering of the files (ex. "Former Box 45") has been noted in the finding aid so that researchers can utilize Godfrey's indices. There is no index available for the files from the former box 48.
