Postcards, 1920s-1970s and undated
This series contains picture postcards, most of which Doherty wrote from Mexico to her family in the United States. Some were written by others: an unidentified New York City friend, J. H. Retinger, and her sister Marguerite. A series of six cards of J. H. Retinger to Mary Louis Doherty dated February 24, 1925, form one continuous text. Most of the pictures on the cards are of contemporary scenes of Mexico.
