Contains thirty-one poems and one short story entitled "Lynnis Farm." Most poems are typescripts, some with notations in pencil and either initialed or signed by Mrs. Gustafson in pencil. Two poems in sketch form are manuscripts on small pieces of paper, one of which is notepaper from the pharmacy of Justin L. Barnes, Mrs. Gustafson's elder son. There are also the manuscripts of two poems, "The Love Song of the Wind" and "Her Knight," by Zadel Barnes, mounted on brown paper. "Lynnis Farm" is a seventy-nine page manuscript written in ink on notebook paper. The unmounted poems are arranged alphabetically in one folder by title; "Lynnis Farm," "Her Knight," and "The Love Song of the Wind" are in their own folders. All four folders are arranged alphabetically.
