Lulu Awards, 1947-1969

The "Lulu" Award is named after Frances Holmes, the first woman to open an advertising agency in the United States. Inaugurated in 1947, the awards are presented annually by the Los Angeles Advertising Women's organization (LAAW). This subseries includes materials related to Harris Tuchman's work with the Ice Follies, Standard Oil, Tidewater Oil, Mattel, Cole, Louis Roth Clothiers, California Hospital Association and the United Way. Also includes items pertaining to Harris Tuchman's election to the presidency of the organization. Items are sorted by date.
