"Mikes Don't Bite" (manuscript), circa 1943
Contains two original, typed manuscripts for Sioussat's 1943 book "Mikes Don't Bite." Copy contains original proofing marks. Series also includes other items related to the book and its publication including copies of illustrations, correspondence between Sioussat and her publisher, a sample dust jacket for the book and other items. (A full, unfolded copy of the book's dust jacket is in oversize Artifacts Box #5.)
