Notes, 1909, 1950 and undated
The second subseries consists of notes and research compiled by Reyher that are not related to any of his published or unpublished work in Series 2.1. Reyher conducted extensive research on many topics that interested him and fueled writing ideas, from dreams to the history of poker. Reyher's system of notes was complex, and he often labeled them with initials or symbols. There are some places, for example, in Reyher's lists of his own works, where partial "keys" to the cryptic code appear. All notes, which include both loose notes and notebooks, are arranged alphabetically by name, if named by Reyher, or by topic, if discernible.
