Audio recordings, 1925-1964
This series contains 33 transcription discs consisting primarily of recordings of the programs transmitted by station 2LO in London. The broadcast was picked up at Belfast, Maine and rebroadcast by WJZ in the United States in March of 1925.

Existence and Location of Copies
The discs holding the recording of the first transatlantic broadcast were digitized are available in the University of Maryland's Digital collections: https://digital.lib.umd.edu/resultsnew?query=Transatlantic+radio+broadcast. All existing discs were surveyed and the content represented in digital collections is the best recordings available from the original media.
