"Portia Faces Life", 1940-1956 and undated

This subseries contains original radio scripts written by Mona Kent for the daytime drama she created, "Portia Faces Life."

Each script is in a separate folder. Almost all of the scripts in this series are dated and/or numbered and have been ordered sequentially by date. Scripts without dates, but which are numbered, are organized in numerical order. A small number of scripts with neither date or number are filed in the last boxes of the first accession (2001-0060-MMC) in no particular order.

Note that not all scripts are complete; pages may be missing. Note as well that exact duplicates of some scripts may exist.

This sub-series also includes scripts numbered 2761-3100 which arrived as a second accession and were integrated into the sub-series in chronological order. These scripts include author Mona Kent's original notes.
