Correspondence and Memos, 1973 - 2004, undated
This subseries contains correspondence and memos relating both to the general issues at National Public Radio and to Stamberg herself from 1970 to 2001. Notable correspondents include J. Carter Brown (the director of the National Gallery), Fred Rogers, Frank Mankiewicz, Ward Chamberlin (the president of WETA), William Siemering, Alfred Knopf, Representative Timothy Wirth, Noah Adams, Daniel Epstein, Pauline Trigere, and Bob Edwards. Memos are divided according to whether they are addressed to the general staff, the news staff, or Stamberg individually.
Materials are arranged by category and chronologically within the categories.
