This subseries documents some of the significant events in the development of National Public Radio, including the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists Agreement of 1977, the demolition of National Public Radio's original building in 1991, the deposition of Nina Totenberg in the Clarence Thomas confirmation hearings in 1992, and the federal funding crisis in 1995.
