Satellites, 1972-1987

This subseries features correspondence, memoranda, publications, budgets, and reports relating to Frischknecht's concerns with satellite technology in his role as Chairman and a board member of the Public Service Satellite Consortium, beginning in 1982. Also included are reports on various satellite utilization plans and programs, including those of PBS, NPR, and the Appalachian Educational Satellite Project.
