Audio-Visual Materials, 1948-2003 and undated

This series consists primarily of recorded interviews with friends and associates of Mencken. Many of these interviews were conducted by noted Mencken scholar Carl Bode. Content includes Mencken Society meetings and two films starring Aileen Pringle. Also included is a copy of the only commercial recording of H. L. Mencken and a microfilm reel of book inscriptions to P. J. Cleator. The series is arranged chronologically by the date of the original event, recording, or production.
