History of the Advisory Service, 1977-1993

This subseries is a collection of letters and notes concerning the founding of the Radio Advisory Service. Included is correspondence about the founding of the system in 1978, as well as articles written by Mayes about the potential of the Advisory Service. There is also Correspondence between Mayes and CPB staff about searching for advisors in 1983 and his desire to become an advisor once again in 1993 under the Service's new name, Management Consulting Service, are also included. Material is arranged chronologically.
