Hawaiian Island Public Radio, 1978-1979

This subseries contains materials documenting Bernard Mayes' work with Hawaiian Island Public Radio (HIPR). The subseries is divided into two sections: correspondences concerning HIPR and published articles about the station. Included in the correspondences are letters, notes, minutes from the Board of Directors of HIPR, and an advisory service rendered form. The various documents concern the hiring of a manager for HIPR and a possible merger between HIPR and KTUH. Materials are arranged by category and then chronologically within category.
