Scrapbooks, 1998-2003

 Series 4

The first scrapbook (1998-2003) consists of clippings, mostly from campus publications such as the Diamondback, and photographs of events, performers, and SEE staff. This volume also contains copies of fliers and other publicity materials for SEE events and a certificate from the Hispanic Heritage Coalition recognizing SEE's support of Hispanic Heritage Month in 2001. This scrapbook was acquired as part of set of scrapbooks from Stamp Union Program Council (SUPC, also variously known as the Student Union Program Council and Student Union Programs and accessioned, Acc. 2009-21), suggesting that SEE may have absorbed SUPC at some point. It is unclear at this time what relationship the SUPC has with SEE. The Glass Onion Concerts Committee, whose advertisements for a number of concerts appear in the scrapbook, appears to have been a division of SUPC.

Eight additional scrapbooks, received in September 2012, document campus events hosted by SEE between 2003 and 2011. The format for these scrapbooks is similar in style to the first, being a mix of newspaper clippings, event brochures and fliers, photographs, and autographs of various performers.
