Printed Brochures and Pamphlets, 1930-1968

 Series 5

Series 5 is separated into two parts. The first part consists of printed brochures about the library profession. Included are pamphlets for high school librarians, a program for the 1947 American Library Association (ALA) Midwinter Conference, a 1948 brochure on librarianship as a good career, the Library Bill of Rights, statistics on Maryland public school libraries in 1961-1962, and Library of Congress pamphlets on automation techniques.

The second part of Series 5 contains brochures on library equipment from the 1940s and 1950s. Included are advertisements for copiers, collators, and microfilmer-readers, and an article titled "Reproduction of Catalogue Cards by Photographic Methods," with samples of reproduced cards. Both parts of Series 5 are arranged chronologically.
