Department/College of Journalism, 1949-1975
This series consists of administrative correspondence, annual reports, accreditation reports, faculty reports, committee papers and minutes, and the subject files of the College. Also included are course descriptions, syllabi, and sample exams, information on various scholarships, records concerning the Diamondback, and records of honorary journalism societies. In addition, floorplans, equipment, and the program for the dedication of the Journalism building are contained in this series. Correspondents of note include Alfred A. Crowell, Ray A. Hiebert, and Wilson H. Elkins. The files have been divided into four subseries.
