Meetings, 1896-1910
This series is comprised of notebooks, correspondence, and ledgers related to Farmers' Institute meetings held throughout the state of Maryland. Correspondence is primarily between William L. Amoss and Institute speakers. Notable correspondents include George T. Powell and R. W. Silvester, and a letter from Amoss to Governor Edwin Warfield concerning an agricultural museum to promote the state. Notebooks include information on the audience reception of particular speakers and topics, attendance, and expenses.
