Trips, 1969-1973
The materials in Subseries 11 document Vice President Agnew's domestic and international trips on official, campaign, and personal business. Included in the files are correspondence; trip reports and billings; press clippings; planning materials; speeches and other public statements; schedules; transcripts of press conferences; and lists of gifts received. Preparation for and execution of events, press coverage, and follow-up activities are well-represented, as is the involvement of local and national Republican figures and foreign dignitaries in Mr. Agnew's travels.
