Memorabilia, 1973-1992 and undated

This series contains three-dimensional memorabilia items that formerly belonged to Katherine Anne Porter, including a lock of Porter's hair; a wooden recorder; a wooden flute; two gilded wood chairs with rush seats; and three framed items, including both photographs and handwritten notes. Facsimiles of the handwritten notes are located in Series 1: Correspondence. These items include Porter's June 24, 1975 note to John David Horner; Porter's "A Christmas Wassail," dated December 23, 1970; and a January 29, 1992, note from Robert A. Beach, Jr., to Clark Dobson and John David Horner. Items are arranged in three groupings in the following order: "Objects", "Framed Items", and "Furniture". They are arranged chronologically within those categories.
