Professional Papers, 1915-1953
Collins's professional papers consist of notes, correspondence, and government documents relating to Federal regulations on banking and the federal budget. They were assembled in the course of Collins's work for the Library of Congress, the Supreme Court, and as an expert consultant to many banks. Topics discussed include changes in banking policy related to the Depression, proposals on a federal budget, and court cases dealing with civil rights. Correspondents include the Giannini family, owners of the Bank of America, and banks such as the First National Bank of Atlanta (GA). The arrangement is alphabetical by topic, and chronological within each category.
