Photographs, 1910-1983 and undated

Series nine consists of primarily of black and white photographs of historic houses and sites in Howard County, Maryland. Photographs 1 through 42 were separated from printed materials throughout the collection. Photographs 43 through 338 were donated in 2007 along with slides of Howard County, Maryland. Boxes 3 through 12 were donated in 2013 and are mostly photographs taken by Holland, though there are also a number of historic photographs as well. Many of the Howard County photographs document locations in Ellicott City. This series also contains a small number of postcards and six stereograph views of Baltimore from the early 20th century. Other locations documented in this series include Baltimore, Maryland, Washington, DC, and Occoquan, Virginia. Copies of folders and organization cards, with Holland’s annotations and notes, have been copied and included with the corresponding photographs. Arrangement is by a sequential number.
