Union Administration Files, 1934-1972

This series consists of records documenting the IUMSWA's operation at the highest levels of the union's administration. Represented are interaction between the IUMSWA, the C.I.O., and the A.F.L.-C.I.O.; the workings of the union's governing bodies, the Executive Council and the General Executive Board; and the operation of the IUMSWA's national and regional offices. The documentation includes correspondence; minutes; reports, constitutions and bylaws; publications; speeches; and case files. These records have been divided into six subseries.
