This subseries is comprised of correspondence, telegrams, minutes, and reports recording interaction between the IUMSWA and specific federal agencies. Significant groupings of files document the union's linkages with the Navy Department, the U. S. Maritime Commission, the War Manpower Commission, and the War Production Board. Also among the correspondents represented in this subseries is President Harry S Truman. The files are arranged alphabetically by agency.
