National Labor Relations Board-Case Files, 1940-1963

These records document specific cases brought before the NLRB involving the union and a wide variety of shipbuilding firms and other employers of IUMSWA members. Types of documents found within these case files include: correspondence; statements of charges; reports; broadsides; petitions; case summaries; and decisions. Also present are reports of proceedings, newspaper clippings, affidavits, and lists of employees specifying jobs desired and previous work experience. Arrangement is alphabetical by case.
