Series 4 contains material by and about over 250 leaders in early childhood education, primarily from the first half of the twentieth century. Coverage of individuals ranges from one-page typed biographies to several boxes of correspondence and diaries. Three major figures documented are Winifred Bain, Mary Leeper, and Agnes Snyder. Arrangement is alphabetical by surname.
