Committees, 1935-1976

Subseries 3 contains correspondence and reports of committees. The bulk of the series is devoted to the Committee on Early Leaders in Childhood Education, which jointly researched and wrote the book Dauntless Women in Childhood Education, 1856-1931, published in 1972. These boxes include notes and source material for the book in addition to correspondence. The remainder of the series covers thirty-four other committees whose activities range from international affairs and intercultural relations to legislative efforts and establishing teacher education guidelines. Arrangement is by committee name.
