Disbanded Branches, 1953-1985

Subseries 11 documents branches of ACEI which have ceased to operate and consists primarily of lists of local branch officers for each year the branch existed. The lists contain directory-type information. Also included for some branches are "Affiliation Request" forms and correspondence with the national headquarters. The bulk of the documents in the series dates from 1971 to 1979. Arrangement is by state. Within each state, branches are arranged alphabetically by name; branch names are normally the name of a town, city, county, or institution of higher education.
