Publications, 1924-1983

This subseries contains copies of all publications produced by the Association alone or in conjunction with other organizations. These publications include paperback booklets, dating primarily from the 1960s and 1970s, on a variety of subjects related to the education of children from two to twelve years old; flyers, newsletters, leaflets, and position papers dealing with ACEI and its activities; guides and bibliographies on children's reading and reference material; bulletins on various topics in education, dating from 1931 to 1971; a complete run of the journal Childhood Education from 1924 to 1983; portfolios (folders) of one-page information sheets on subjects or age-levels dating from the 1940s and 1950s; and a complete set of yearbooks from 1930 to 1977 that contain financial and membership information and reports on projects and committee activities. Publications are arranged by document type and/or title; bibliographies, bulletins, Childhood Education, portfolios and yearbooks are further arranged chronologically.
