Memorabilia, 1807-1970

 Sub-Series

This subseries contains the three-dimensional objects donated by the Association. It includes the following types of materials: toys; workbooks of teachers and students; Froebel's gifts; Mother Play verses; and pricking, cutting, folding, weaving, and sewing samples. There are also some exhibit pieces from a Japanese Artifacts Exhibit and a Frobleian Material Exhibit done by the ACEI. The materials arrived from ACEI in numbered and labeled boxes but there were several numbering systems so the materials were merged. The exhibit items were kept together and groups of items that were labelled as groups were kept together as much as possible, but due to the nature of the materials some items had to be pulled out and placed into oversize containers. The oversize containers were added to the end of the other boxes. The arrangement of the memorabilia parallels the original order in which they were received. This order was followed except for oversize items, which were pulled from the sequence and placed at the end.
