Maryland Fund Races, 1962-1975

This subseries contains material related specifically to the scheduling, administration, and Racing Commission approval of Maryland Fund Races; most of the material consists of correspondence regarding the number of races to be held at each track and the purse to be offered for each race. There is also some correspondence regarding the Maryland Fund program itself. Especially in the early days of the program, there was much discussion of its implementation and administration; this is reflected in the file " Maryland Fund - General Correspondence, 1962-1964 and undated." The materials are arranged chronologically, then alphabetically by track name.
