This subseries includes genealogical materials relating to the Bruce and Keyser families, as well as documents regarding various family members. Included are a diary belonging to Bruce's mother Louise Este (Fisher) Bruce; a typed manuscript by his father William Cabell Bruce; Ellen Keyser Bruce's diary and notebooks; clippings related to David Bruce and his first wife, Ailsa Mellon Bruce. Files on Bruce and Keyser family homes and properties, including Staunton Hill, the Bruce ancestral home in Virginia, and Pinckney Island, off the coast of South Carolina, which James and Ellen Keyser Bruce owned for a time, are also included here. Arrangement is alphabetical by individual or subject and chronological therein.
