This series includes correspondence with colleagues, students, members of the University of Maryland faculty, and other educational institutions. In some cases, the folder heading addresses the topic of the contents, not the individual who is the correspondent, e.g. S. Mercer 1959, contains letters to and from Rudolph Papa, who makes references to Mercer.
