Photographs, 1913-1970 and undated

Series 4 consists of photographs of Geary Eppley during his school days, his time in the military, and his tenure as a member of the faculty at the University of Maryland. The photographs were separated from Series 5. The bulk of the photographs date from 1935 to 1964. Included are photographs of Eppley as a member of the Maryland State College of Agriculture Football Team, track teams Eppley coached, Eppley serving in World War II, Eppley at dinner... receptions, and portraits of Eppley in his office. The black and white photographs range in size from 5"x7" to 8"x10". Also included are three photographs from an earlier accession of materials (72-135) that include a portrait of Reuben Brigham and two group photographs, Eppley with Harry Clifton Byrd, and Eppley on the Athletic Board with Dr. William Suplee, Colonel Griswold, Dr. Ernest Cory, and Dr. William B. Kemp. Arrangement is alphabetical according to the original subject heading; accession 72-135 photographs are in the front.
