Editing, 1950-1985

The documents in this series relate to Landsberg's activities as editor-in-chief of the World Survey of Climatology and as editor of Advances in Geophysics and the Handbook of Applied Meteorology, which later appeared under the title Handbook of Applied Climatology. This series consists primarily of correspondence between Landsberg and other contributors and editors or the publishers, Elsevier and Academic Press. Topics discussed include editorial comments, scheduling of contributions, and admonishments of late contributors. Included are also literary reviews of the works, as well as drafts and page proofs of forewords by Helmut Landsberg. Arrangement is alphabetical by volume and subject.
