Scientific and Professional Organizations, 1941-1985

This series consists primarily of correspondence relating to Landsberg's activities in a large number of professional and scientific organizations. Other document types present include minutes of meetings and papers delivered at meetings. The records of the National Science Foundation include proposal reviews of research grant proposals (which were formally restricted for a period of 25 years), as well as Landsberg's own research proposals and documents relating to the research done under an NSF grant. The records of the International Society of Biometeorology include documents relate to the Seventh Biometeorological Congress which was held at the University of Maryland in College Park in 1975. These materials have been arranged alphabetically by organization.
