Personal, 1917-1980

This series includes correpondence from friends, family, politicians, publishers, business associates, lawyers, and scholars. It also contains a diary kept by Mr. Ragsdale during the 1940s, as well as an autobiography written in 1963 for the U.S. News and World Report files. This series contains a bound volume of the Sunday school lessons taught by Warner B. Ragsdale from 1949 to 1962 at the First Baptist Church of Silver Spring, Maryland. One oversized poster publicizing Mr. Ragsdale's career with The Associated Press has been filed with the other photographs in the collection. These materials are arranged alphabetically by topic.
