Maryland National Guard, 1931-1975
Included in this series are materials relating to Reckord's duties as Adjutant General of the Maryland National Guard and his involvement with the National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS). Reckord drafted and contributed to documents discussing the structure and functions of the National Guard. Contracts and correspondence on the construction and maintenance of National Guard facilities are included, along with deeds and blueprints for Fort Ritchie (later Camp Ritchie). Reckord retained copies of his speeches and others' speeches from National Guard events. Materials in this series also relate to the Baltimore War Memorial Commission.
Arrangement is alphabetical by folder and chronological within some folders.
