Financial, 1903-1936

This series consists of personal and official financial records maintained by Ritchie. The bulk of the material covers 1921-1933, Ritchies' years as governor.

Personal financial records include materials relating to Ritchie's investments and papers relating to estates of which Ritchie was executor or in which Ritchie has a personal interest. The official records cover the Executive Department of the state government in Annapolis and the Executive Mansion in which Ritchie resided. Subjects include state and departmental budgets, appropriations for the University of Maryland, and maintenance of the Executive Mansion.
