This series contains printed material and newspaper and periodical clippings related to important issues of the 1920s and 1930s.
Subjects include economics, taxes and tariffs, unemployment, education, the Democratic Party, farm subsidies, and social welfare. Also included is the photogravure section of the Baltimore Sun for January 25, 1920 portraying Ritchie and his mother in Annapolis at Ritchie's inauguration.
