Family, 1912-1983
Series VI contains materials donated by Adele H. Stamp's relatives, encompassing her young adulthood, professional life, and retirement. Biographical information about Stamp's career, as well as her awards and accomplishments, is included. Newspaper clippings and publications from her tenure as the Dean of Women document her career at the University of Maryland. In addition, correspondence to Stamp from friends and acquaintances illuminate her personal relationships, most notably her courtship with Franklin D. Day. Also part of this series are two travel journals from Stamp's trips to Europe in 1912 and 1926 and a Tulane University yearbook from 1921 which includes her graduation photo.
