Theaters, 1877-1997 and undated

This series consists of materials gathered during research for the book American Theaters: Performance Halls in the Nineteenth Century. Survey forms, flyers, leaflets, newspaper and periodical articles, correspondence, and photocopies of photographs of these theaters comprise these files. This series has been divided into two subseries.
