Posters and Certificates, 1969-2008

This series contains sixteen certificates presented to the Woman's Suburban Democratic Club in gratitude for its members' efforts or on the occasion of club anniversaries. Included are certificates and proclamations awarded by the Democratic National Committee; the United States Committee for UNICEF; the Maryland House of Delegates and Senate; several Maryland governors; the Montgomery County Council; and Montgomery County Executive Douglas Duncan. The series also includes posters documenting national political campaigns and publicizing the WSDC's annual County Fair and Auction. A recent poster recognizing WSDC as 2008 Democrat of the Year is signed by Congressman Chris Van Hollen.
