Health and Welfare Council, 1941-1970 and undated

The series consists of files on committees, projects, reports, and meetings of the Health and Welfare Council of the National Capital Area and of Prince George's County. Hayes was chairman of the Health and Welfare Council of Prince George's County from 1965 until 1968 and a general member of the Health and Welfare Council of the National Capital Area for many years. Committees from both chapters documented in this series include the Day Care Committee; the Executive Committee; the Rehabilitation Committee; and the Board of Directors. One folder related to the Health and Welfare Council is restricted.
