Home Demonstration Work, 1923-1965

This series consists of annual reports, handbooks, press releases, and newsletters relating to home demonstration work in Maryland. The records within this series detail the participation of Maryland residents in home demonstration work as well as subjects that were covered each year. While home demonstration work existed before the establishment of the Maryland Association for Family and Community Education (MDAFCE), the MDAFCE was created to bring together women from local homemakers club throughout the state of Maryland. Materials are arranged alphabetically by subject and then chronologically.
