Organizational Files of the NAFCE, 1972-1992
This subseries consists of awards, conference proceedings, handbooks, meeting minutes, publications, and reports produced by and about the National Association for Family and Community Education (NAFCE), formerly the National Extension Homemakers Council (NEHC) and used by the MDAFCE. The NAFCE is a national organization affiliated with the state homemakers' councils, such as the MDAFCE, which works to improve the lives of families and communities in the United States. Since their establishment in 1936, the NAFCE has been involved in various programs such as the national school lunch program, immunization programs for children, and local bookmobiles. Materials are arranged alphabetically by subject and then chronologically.
