Historic and Archeological Resources Protection (HARP), 1987-1997 and undated
HARP was a program that attempted to document historically significant resources. It began before the Legacy program was established, but embodied similar goals and approaches to historic preservation. These files include several historic resource assessments and planning studies for various military installations, arranged in alphabetical order by military base name. These files also include HARP guidelines and other administrative materials. Additional reports may be found in the general collection of the National Trust Library. Photographs were removed from the Naval Air Station, Key West, Florida folder and placed in Series XVIII, Photographs and Slides. Arrangement is alphabetical by folder title.
