North Point State Park Campaign, 1984-1996
The papers in this series reflect the structure of the Coalition to Preserve Black Marsh, Inc. and its campaign strategies. The materials document Daniel S. Lynch's duties and activities as vice president of the organization. Files include drafts, notes, publications, flyers, membership lists, and news clippings. Correspondence between the coalition and individuals and state boards documents CPBM's efforts to create a network of supporters. Photographs and negatives, a sketchbook, maps, and posters document visual elements of CPBM's campaign.
Lynch and other CPBM officers remained informed about the activities and plans of the advisory board of the NPSP and the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. Included in this series are plans, reports, drafts, and board member contact lists that the advisory board and DNR made publicly available.
